Josiah received his B.S. in chemistry from Appalachian State University in 2025. As an undergraduate, he worked under Dr. Nick Shaw on C-terminal protection techniques of amino acids via the use of novel nanoreactors. Josiah joined the Gunnoe group in the fall of 2025.
