Chris received his B.S in chemistry from George Washington University in 2020, where he worked under Dr. Adelina Voutchkova-Kostal on the valorization of biomass using supported catalysts. In the Fall of 2020, Chris joined the Ph.D. program at the University of Virginia and started working under Dr. Brent Gunnoe, where he is now working on catalytic olefin hydroarylation.
