Chris Chapman graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2017 with a BS in Chemistry. His undergraduate research involved the study of water-styrene emulsions that are stabilized by hexagonal boron nitride, in the Adamson group. After graduation, he worked at King Industries Inc, where he researched petroleum-based lubricant additives. After 6 years of R&D, process chemistry, and additive formulation, he came back to academia. He now resides in the Gunnoe group, where he will be working with electrocatalytic oxygen and hydrogen evolution reactions from water.
